VIDEO: {Train Attack} ‘We’re in difficult situation’-Abductees cry out
A video of the kidnapped victims of the Abuja-Kaduna train attack emerged on Sunday.
The video shows the abductees surrounded by their abductors in a vast expanse of forest area, pleading with the government to act.
Solacebase reports that in the 2:13, two minutes thirteen seconds video, some of the kidnapped victims identified themselves as a student of Kaduna State University, Independent National Electoral Commission staff, an eye patient heading to Kaduna for treatment and the Bank of Agriculture, Managing Director, Alwan Hassan was seen in the video before his release.
Some of the captives were seen calling on the government to come to their rescue.
“We are the train passengers that left Abuja for Kaduna on the 28th of March, 2022. On our way, we were attacked and abducted. And between that time and now, only we know the kind of condition we have been in. There are mothers and toddlers amongst us. There are old, sickly people. Many of us are sick. We are in a very difficult and painful situation. And so we are calling on our friends and families, and the government too, to do something urgently,” one of the victims said in the video.
The terrorists in a previous video with the released Managing Director of Bank of Agriculture, Alwan Hassan had said they were releasing the bank MD due to his age and the month of Ramadan.
