Protest as Air Peace abandons passengers in Kano

Air Peace Abuja bound passengers on Wednesday night protested at Malam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA) over flight delay of over five hours.

Solacebase reports that the airplane with flight number 7423 KANO to ABUJA was scheduled to depart MAKIA by 6.25pm on Wednesday but the flight or staff of the airline were nowhere to be found as at 11.00pm which infuriated the passengers to protest the situation.

‘’How can they keep us here like this without any update on the situation of things for God sake, an angry passenger asked?

”Why would they abandoned us here without any information on the flight?”

The Aviation Security officers tried to calm the situation so that it does not degenerate to fisticuff when the airline staff later resurfaced.

As at the time of filing this report (11.30pm) the passengers are yet to know their fate as they were just being pacified without any concrete update.
