Nasiru Ali Ahmad wins re-election of APC ticket for Nasarawa federal constituency in Kano

The Nassarawa Federal Constituency , House of Representatives member, Nasiru Ali Ahmad, has been re-elected by 53 out of the 55 delegates that casted their votes during the affirmative elections.

The Affirmative elections which was conducted at the Local Government Hisba Office, in Kano , on Friday, follows a unanimous decisions through a Consensus process at the Kano Government House between Nasiru Ali Ahmad and other contestant.

However in order to authenticate the elections, delegates were allowed to cast their votes which was presided by Jamilu Sani Rano , State APC observer, INEC officials, DSS, Police and other Security agents.

Subsequently, the votes were counted returning Nasiru Ali Ahmad with 53 votes , while two other delegates abstained.

Speaking after the declaration of the results, Nasiru Ali Ahmad, appreciated God almighty whom he dedicated the victory to, saying, he gives power to whom he so wishes, adding that there was no rivalry between him and the other contestant, Lamin Sani,  because they are brothers.

He assured that after winning the general elections in 2023, he will continue to make his Constituency, Kano and Nigeria proud
