The Emir of Kano Alh. Aminu Ado Bayero has approved the NASRUL-LAHI-L-FATIH Society (NASFAT) newly built ultra-modern mosque at Sabo Geri in the metropolis for Jumat services.
The Emir approval came following the report presented to him after an on-sight visit to the mosque by the chief Imam of Kano Prof. Sani Zaharadeen and Hakimi Fagge Alh. Mahmoud Ado Bayero to ensure the mosque complies with sharia doctrines was conducted.
Prof. Sani Zaharadden in his report to the emirate council traced the history of the mosque to the reign of Malam Ibrahim Shekarau, noting that the former governor of Kano state gave NASFAT the land and investigation has shown that NASFAT is a credible Islamic organization that has maintained peace with all and sundry.

The report also praised NASFAT on the level of facilities at the mosque and recommended the mosque for approval.
The Emir in his response after the submission approved the mosque for Jumat service and other prayers and also gave His Royal blessings to members and leadership of NASFAT.
With this approval, the mosque is officially recognized by the Emirate council and will thus be gazetted.
In his reaction to the approval the Zonal Chairman of NASFAT Alh. Kazeem Taoreed appreciated the Emir, members of the Kano Emirate council for following due diligence in the approval.
Alh Kazeem promised to improve and sustain the cordial relationship between the various Islamic organisations’ within the state.
NASFAT Zonal missioner Northwest 1 Ustaz Ishaq Zubair Onireke lauded the Kano Emirate Council for the opportunity.
‘’The emir has played the role of the leader of believers (Ameerul Muminin) for sending the delegates to inspect the mosque, in order to protect the people from having conflict among the worshippers,’’ Onireke said.
The Chairman of Kano branch of NASFAT Dr Daud Adekale was full of praises for members of the Islamic group who contributed to build the mosque.
