2023 Election: Ganduje’s SSA, Farouq Garo resigns
A Senior Special Assistant to governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano State on Monitoring and Evaluation , Dr. Farouq Sule Garo has resigned his appointment to pursue his political career.
In his letter of resignation to the governor, Farouq Garo said the action became pertinent in line with Electoral Act section 84 (12), as amended 2022.
He appreciated the opportunity to serve in the Ganduje administration and the confidence reposed in him during the period.

Recalls that Kano State Governor , Abdullahi Ganduje, had directed appointees wishing to contest in 2023 general elections to resign on or before April 18th in line with the Electoral Act.
Farouq Sule Garo while thanking Governor Abdullahi Ganduje for appointing him SSA and the free hand to carry out his responsibilities during his stay in office said the experience gained over the period cannot be quantified.
Garo said he intends to serve his people in another capacity by contesting for the House of Representatives, Gwarzo /Kabo federal constituency.
