Train Attack: Terrorists release abducted pregnant passenger
Terrorists, who bombed the Abuja-Kaduna train, killed nine persons and kidnapped about 70 passengers in March, have released one of the pregnant captives.
A video of the released pregnant clad in black abaya (gown) and black face mark, went viral on social media at the weekend.
Investigations revealed the woman was released by her abductors on compassionate ground after spending 48 days in captivity with others.
According to The Nation, in the video, the woman called on the Federal Government to negotiate with the terrorists and secure release of the remaining captives.
She said it was imperative because of the uncertainty surrounding the plight of others still under the terrorists’ den .
The woman said the terrorists took care of them, saying they were also fed very well.
She also said the terrorists also took care of their medication.
Her release brings to three the abducted train passengers who have so far regained their freedom.
The first was Managing Director of Bank of Agriculture, Alwan Ali-Hassan and son of Professor Ango Abdullahi, Sadik.
