Recently some Peoples’ Democratic Party leaders in Kano held a meeting that was chaired by a Jigawa state former Governor , Sule Lamido and issued a communique that calls for the dissolution of the state working committee and zonal caretaker committee.
As a party leader I want to draw the attention of our party members, to the stakeholders meeting held recently at Wadata Plaza Abuja under the leadership of Ambassador Umar Iliya Damagum the Deputy National Chairman North of our party, where the leadership of the party instructed that we all return to base and seek avenues to promote peace and Cohesion within the party .
We should recall the fact that at all levels from ward, to local Government and state structures elections were held that produced the party executives and they are to serve for a period of Four years.

As at my last check all party executives remain loyal party members and they deserve due recognition and respect.
As the leading candidate for the Zonal chairmanship of our great Party , I remain committed to the ideals of the party and I equally call on the National Leadership of our party to find a way to conclude the Zonal Congress of our party as soon as possible, as we set our eyes on the goal Of reclaiming our National Mandate.
I salute the unwavering commitment and leadership of Hon Shehu Wada Sagagi and the state working committee for providing leadership at a time when the Party needed it the most.
