2023: Khalifa Sanusi II denies authoring article on Bola Tinubu

The 14^th Emir of Kano, Khalifa Muhammad Sanusi II has denied authoring an article on Bola Tinubu attributed to him.

A statement issued on Wednesday by his Chief of Staff, Munir Sanusi, Danburam Kano said the article circulating in the online media space titled “2023: Bola Tinubu and the cost of Political Miscalculation” was not authored by His Highness, as is being widely attributed.

‘’This article has been circulating on Whatsapp groups for months and was written by a man named Sanusi Muhammad, who is unrelated to His Highness, ‘’the statement said.

Solacebase reports that Bola Tinubu, national leader of All Progressive Congress (APC) has declared intention to vie for the presidency of this country come 2023.

‘’Unfortunately, most people have misidentified the author’s name as His Highness. Consequently, given the need to set the records straight, we are stating for the benefit of those unaware that Khalifa has never been referred to as Sanusi Muhammad, but as HH Muhammad Sanusi II.’’
