Qatar Airways to commence flight operations to Kano , Port Harcourt

Qatar Airways has concluded arrangement to commence four weekly flights to Kano (KAN) on 02 March 2022, and three weekly flights to Port Harcourt (PHC) on 03 March 2022, both operating via the Nigerian capital, Abuja.

This was contained in a statement issued by the  Airways Group Chief Executive,  Mr. Akbar Al Baker on Tuesday, in Doha.

‘’The airline currently operates two daily flights to Lagos and four times a week to Abuja, which will expand to a daily service in March,’’ the statement said.

‘’The Airline is strengthening its commitment to Nigeria, now connecting to four gateways via its international hub in Doha.’’

According to the statement, Kano and Port Harcourt will become the seventh and eight new African gateways launched by Qatar Airways since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Solacebase reports that both routes will be served by Boeing 787 Dreamliner, featuring 22 seats in Business Class and 232 in Economy Class.
