Job Opportunities: Hundreds of youths laud Kano federal lawmaker


Hundreds of youths from Ungogo and Minjibir local governments areas of Kano State have lauded the initiative and efforts of the federal lawmaker, representing the areas at the National Assembly, Hon. Sani Ma’aruf Mai Wake for securing job placement for 133 unemployed youths.

The youths expressed their appreciation over the weekend when they received their appointment letters into various federal ministries, departments and parastatals.

Speaking on-behalf of the beneficiaries, Ibrahim Liti Dausayi commended the lawmaker, Sani Ma’aruf Mai Wake for according them the opportunities to be gainfully employed.

‘’We are very grateful for this wonderful opportunities, it will go a long way in reducing poverty in our community,’’ said Ibrahim Dausayi.

‘’Incidentally this is not the first time you are giving us this kind of opportunities. We cannot forget your various empowerment scheme that has translated to most job seekers becoming employers of labour.’’

Earlier speaking, Hon. Sani Ma’aruf Mai Wake, Ungogo/Minjibir Federal Constituency representative at the National Assembly, appealed to the beneficiaries to be good ambassador of their communities.

He urged them to be diligent and continue to exhibit the good behaviour they are known for.

Solacebase reports that shortly after, the lawmaker, laid the foundation of an Islamic school and centre which he said would cost N87m with modern infrastructural facilities on completion.

On his part, Ungogo local government area APC Chairman, Abdurrazak Bello Inusawa said the lawmaker’s initiatives and efforts are incomparable.

He appreciated the good gesture, asking him not to relent in delivering dividence of democracy to the people.
