Female Kano indigene breaks London University record, bags first class in law

The Daughter of a Nigeria lawmaker, Rabiyya Nasir Ahmad, has broken the record of a London University, by emerging the first female law graduate to bag first class degree in law.

Solacebase reports that Rabiyya Nasir Ahmad who was awarded Bachelor of Law with First Class Honour by the Coventry University London, was the first black female student with such a performance in the university record, established in 1992.

The father, Nasir Ali Ahmad, lawmaker, representing Nasarawa Federal Constituency from Kano who was full of joy , on Thursday , appreciated God Almighty for crowning her daughter’s effort who insisted in studying law.

“I reluctantly agreed to her consistent plea to allow her study law, not knowing the talents Allah has bestowed her with , ‘’an elated Ahmad said.

‘’Honestly her successful performance has also confirmed the hidden talents and brilliance many Nigerian youths are endowed with.’’
