PDP moves to take over Kano in 2023-Sen. Gwarzo

The Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) in Kano State has convened a national convention to ensure the unity of its people in the state, at the Sani Abacha Convention Center.

The event was attended by three political groups, that is, that of Ambassador Aminu Wali, the group of the late Dr. Abubakar Rimi and that of the late Malam Dauda Dangalan.

During the PDP non-election convention in Kano State, Senator Bello Hayatu Gwarzo affirmed the party’s progress in the State.

He said, “The PDP in Kano State is well on its way to forming a government in 2023.

He said the various groups have agreed to work together for the betterment of the party, especially to ensure the peaceful conduct of the North West congress, scheduled for Kaduna State.

‘’We can remember these three political groups, that played a key role in the formation of the PDP in 1998, they have now taken the initiative to confront the moles in the party and reorganize so as to give Kano people good governance, ‘’Senator Hayatu Gwarzo said.

‘’Everyone knows that the PDP is the strongest party in Kano State in terms of the number of supporters, but it has failed to get the right results.’’

‘’In 2015 the PDP lost all the seats and representation in at least 600 seats we had in Kano where in 2019, it won only thirteen (13) seats.’’

‘’These groups have agreed to work hard to revitalize the party and ensure the success of Senator Bello Hayatu Gwarzo, as PDP North West deputy National Chairman. So far it has the support of at least 95% of the support of the seven states. Following his qualifications for the position.

The non-election convention was attended by the party supporters from the 44 Local Government Areas and 484 wards.
