Mass resignation of management staff hit Vision FM in Kano

Mass resignation of 13 management staff has hit Vision Radio FM in Kano.

In a notice of disengagement signed by the13 management staff led by the Station General Manager, Adamu Ladan, addressed to the Group General Manager of the station in Abuja, the staff said their appointment has been on probation since engaged in January 2019 though it was supposed to last for six months as indicated in their appointment letters.

The staff said despite several reminders that their appointment should be normalized, nothing was done.

According to the letter sighted by Solacebase on Friday, the affected management staff appealed to the station to pay their outstanding salaries and claims before their exit from the organization.

‘’We, however, thank the company for the offer provided us to serve for two years out of our many years of working career. We appreciate the opportunity provided us during this period. We are pleased to state, that coming from a distance of about twenty others, the station  is now among the top four in Kano in terms of popularity.’’

The staff in the notice expressed their deepest assurance to continually support the station even after their exit.

Other management staff that jointly signed the letter include Isyaku Maje Turaki, Assistant General Manager,  Muhammad Garba, Manager Admin and Finance, Aliyu Abubakar Getso, Manager News and Current Affairs, Ahmed Rufa’i Bello- Asst. Manager News & Current Affairs and  Lami S. Murtala – Head of Women Programme

It said others are Ashiru Shehu Kachako- Head of Religious Unit, Lami Shema- Principal Producer, Cpt. Abdullahi Adamu Bakoji (rtd) – CSO, Mustapha Khamis- Religious Unit,  Sadiq Muhammad Kiyawa- News Producer, Musa Zangina Adam- Religious Unit and Samira Adnan.
