EFCC arrests 5 internet fraud suspects in Kano

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has arrested five internet fraud suspects in Kano.

The Commission in a tweet on its verified tweeter handle on Wednesday said its operatives in the Kano Zonal Office effect the arrest.

Solacebase reports that the suspects are: Abdulaziz Shamsuddeen Umar, Adamu Sufiyan, Abdulsamad Abdulaziz, Mustapha Musa, and Suleiman Alexander Adeiza.

It noted that they were arrested at Danbare Quarter, opposite Bayero University, Kano following intelligence on their alleged involvement in cyber-related fraud.

According to the tweet, they will be charged to court when investigation is completed.
