With the increasing spate of insecurity, kidnapping and abduction, President Muhammadu Buhari and governors under the All Progressives Congress (APC) have been described as a failure and asked to resign.
The Special Adviser to Kano State Governor, on Media, Malam Saliu Tanko Yakasai demanded their resignation if they cannot deal with terrorists decisively.
Yakasai, lamenting in a series of tweet on Friday, said the APC led government has disappointed Nigerians, as the first responsibility of any elected government is the provision of security for lives and properties for the citizens.
Solacebase reports that barely two weeks ago over 40 persons were abducted from Government Science College, Kagara in Niger State that includes students and staff as another mass abduction of hundreds of schoolgirls was recorded at, Jangebe, Talata Mafara local government area of Zamfara State in the early hours of Friday.
Clearly, we as APC government, at all levels, have failed Nigerians in the number 1 duty we were elected to do which is to secure lives & properties. Not a single day goes by without some sort of insecurity in this land. This is a shame! Deal with terrorists decisively or resign. https://t.co/L5YCvik1Eb

Norm indeed, each time another tragedy happens, we lament, condemn, create hashtag, the govt pretends to do something, no concrete steps to prevent reoccurrence, and then we repeat the process. To what end? Where are those saddled with the responsibility? SMDH. https://t.co/vQS5bwMAy7

Just last week it was #freekagaraboys, today we have a new hashtag #RescueJangebeGirls, who knows tomorrow what hashtag we will come up with? Perhaps one for ourselves when we get caught up in one of these daring attacks. This is sad & heartbreaking, I feel helpless & hopeless 😪

The governor’s Special Adviser, a social media activist, known very well on the social media of saying out his mind regardless of any situation was suspended in 2019 by Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje over some comments he made on Twitter, believed to be too critical of President Muhammadu Buhari led administration.
