Kano State Government has approved the promotion of 130 workers in the mainstream of the civil service in the months of February 2021.
The State Civil service Commission Chairman Engr. Bello Mohammad Kiru announced this on Thursday shortly after the routine commission meeting for the senior staff promotion exercise held at the commission conference hall.
A statement issued by the commission Public relations officer Ismail Garba Gwammaja on Thursday said Engr Kiru, explained that 130 workers were promoted while 3 other cases of disciplinary were treated accordingly base on the civil service rules.
Solacebase reports that the three staff facing disciplinary panel were dismissed from service for misconducts.

‘’Engr Kiru charged affected officers that benefit from the promotion exercise to reciprocate the gesture by committing themselves to their duties diligently to move Kano forward again.
He restated resolve of the commission to continue to work assiduously in the area of staff promotion, recruitment, transfer of service, retirement and disciplinary where necessary, with a view to clean up and shaping the horizon of workers in the state.
