Karaye Emirate Council fixes date to turban five Kingmakers

Karaye Emirate Council in Kano State has completed arrangement for the formal installation of five Kingmakers and two other Senior District Heads.

Solacebase reports that the Kingmakers are Makama of Karaye Alhaji Musa Saleh Kwankwaso, Sarkin Bai Alhaji Jibrin Ibrahim Zarewa, Sarkin Dawaki Mai-Tuta Senator Bello Hayatu Gwarzo, Dan Iya Alhaji Bashir Mahe and the Madaki of Karaye Alhaji Ibrahim Ahmad Karaye.

A statement issued by Karaye Emirate Council Information Officer, Haruna Gunduwawa on Thursday said the other two Senior Chiefs are the Wali of Karaye  Isma’ila Gwarzo ( former Security Adviser to Late Head of State General Sani Achaca) and the Waziri of Karaye Alhaji Musa Muhammad. They’re also Members of the Karaye emirate council.

The statement said Kano State Governor, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the Waziri Sokoto and a representative from Gwandu Emirate are expected to grace the occasion scheduled for Friday 27th November 2020 at Karaye Emir’s palace.

‘’The occasion also coincided with wedding prayers of the daughter of the Emir of Karaye Alhaji Dr Ibrahim Abubakar II Princes Nafisat Ibrahim Abubakar and Dr Abdullahi Abubakar Gaya,’’ said the statement.

According to the statement, ‘’The wedding will take place at Karaye central Friday Mosque shortly after Juma’at Prayer.’’
