JUST IN: Kano promotes 215 civil servants, sanctions 5 others

Kano State Government has approved the promotion of 215 staff in the months of November from various ministries, departments and agencies respectively.

Solacebase reports that the State Civil service Commission Chairman, Engr. Bello Mohammad Kiru announced this on Thursday shortly after the commission meeting for senior staff promotion exercise.

 A statement issued by the commission Public relations officer, Ismail Garba Gwammaja on Thursday said Engr. Kiru expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah, for making it possible to witness yet another session, and restate the commission readiness to work tirelessly in order to ensure sanity and discipline among the civil service.

According to the statement, he pointed out that, 215 staff were duly successful for the promotion this month while five other disciplinary cases were treated accordingly.

Solacebase recalls that 249 civil servants were promoted in October 2020.

 ‘’The Chairman also praise the present administration for giving the commission adequate attention to discharge it duties effectively for speedy development said the statement.

‘’The Permanent Secretary of the commission Salisu Gabasawa commended the staff of the commission for their zeal and charged them to be up and doing to achieve the set objectives of the commission promptly.’’
