Zakari Wali heads Kano caretaker committee of NASSI

The National Association of Small Scale Industrialists, NASSI, has appointed  Zakari Mahe Bashir Wali as Chairman of a ten man Caretaker Committee to run the affairs of Kano State branch of the Association.

This was contained in a letter addressed to Zakari Wali by the National President  of the Association, Mr Solomon Daniel Vongfa, dated September 14, 2020.

It stated that the appointment which is for 6 months was in compliance with Section 15(iii) of the NASSI Constitution and the Caretaker Committee is expected to conduct elections that will usher in a new Executive Council of the Kano State branch.

The Chairman of the Caretaker Committee, Zakari Mahe Bashir Wali was the Chief Whip of Kano State House of Assembly from 1999 to 2003.

He was Kano State Coordinator of the National Poverty Eradication Program, NAPEP, from 2007 to 2011 and is a member of Institute of Industrialists and Corporate Administrators
