JUST IN: Obaseki ahead of Ize-Iyamu with over 50,000 in Edo election

The Edo state governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Godwin Obaseki, in Saturday’s election, is ahead of Osagie Ize-Iyamu, his All Progressives Congress (APC) counterpart, with over 50,000 votes.

Godwin Obaseki has won 8 out of the 10 local government areas announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) while Ize Iyamu won two local government areas.
