Kogi state has finally joined the list of states with Covid-19 cases months after the index case was confirmed in the country.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed two positive cases in the state in its daily Covid-19 report on Wednesday night, May 27.
The centre announced this on its verified twitter handle on Wednesday.
Solacebase recalled that Nigeria Medical Association Kogi state branch on May 6 expressed concern over the state government denial of the disease, saying it is dangerous to the health situation of the state.
However, with this report, it remains only the Cross River state yet to record a single case as 35 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) all have confirmed cases of COVID-19.
