The Bichi emirate council has announced the removal of five district heads under the newly created Bichi emirate for failure to recognize and pay homage to the new emir Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero.
The five district heads are the district head of Dambatta, Muktar Adnan, Sarki Bai, Minjibir Alhaji Ali Ibrahim Matawallen Kano, Tsanyawa, Dawakin Tofa and Madakin Kano, Yusuf Nabahani Cigari and that of Bichi. The removal was the outcome of the emirate sitting on Sunday.
However, the removed district heads were since replaced with immediate effect.
Similarly, the emirate council has announced the name of Abdulhamid Ado Bayero as the new district head of Bichi, Ma,awuya Abbas Sanusi as the new district head of Tsanyawa, Dr Abdullahi Maikano Rabi’u as the new district head of Dawakin Tofa, Alhaji Wada Waziri formerly the district head of Makoda is now the new district head of Dambatta while Alhaji Labaran Abdullahi replaces him as the new district head of Makoda and Malam Isma’il Sarkin Fulani as the new district head of Minjibir.
All the new appointments are with immediate effect thereby making the newly appointed district heads effective from the day of the announcement.
