Kano state governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje on Wednesday extended the tenure of the State Head of Service, Dr. Kabiru Shehu, as Acting Head of Service, a day after his (HoS) service years elapse.
Ganduje said Dr. Shehu would continue in an acting capacity, till when a substantive Head of Service is appointed.
A statement issued on Wednesday by Chief Press Secretary to the state Governor, Abba Anwar and forwarded to Solacebase said that the governor lauded initiatives introduced by Dr. Shehu since his appointment that is strengthening relationships between government and workers.”
Solacebase recalled that Dr. Kabiru Shehu, a former permanent secretary was appointed in July Head of Service by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje.
It urged public servants to continue relating well with him, as when he was first appointed as the State Head of Service.
