President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday night arrived Sochi, Russia ahead of the Russia-Africa Economic Forum.
Solacebase reports that the President Special Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad announced the president’s arrival on his verified tweeter handle.
The President was welcomed by Mayor of Sochi Anatoly Pakhomov and other Russian Government officials.
Bashir Ahmad tweeted: “President @MBuhari arrives Sochi, Russia ahead of the Russia-Africa Economic Forum, he’s welcomed by Mayor of Sochi Anatoly Pakhomov and other Russian Government officials.”
President Muhammadu Buhari is attending a three-day Russia-Africa Summit holding from Oct 23 to Oct 25.
An earlier statement by Presidential Spokesman, Garba Shehu in Abuja on Sunday said the summit would focus on exploring and expanding opportunities in security, trade and investment, science technology and gas production.
