Heavily armed security personnel believed to be operatives of the DSS have arrested Abubakar Idriss, popularly known as Abu Hanifa Dadiyata at his Kaduna residence last night.

Dadiyata is a leading social media activist on Twitter that protects and projects Kwankwasiyya ideology and the PDP in northern Nigeria.

The statement appealed to security agencies to as a matter of responsibility release Abubakar Dadiyata unhurt and without any condition.

‘’As a member of the opposition in Kano and Nigeria we will continue to give constructive criticism to the ruling party within the confines of the law, said the statement.

Efforts by Solacebase to get a reaction from the Department of State Service Spokesperson, Peter Afunanya proved abortive as his phone was not connecting.

Solacebase gathered that the matter had since been reported to the police, who promised to find Abubakar Idris.
