Dabo dynasty of Kano emirate has affirmed loyalty and support to the four newly created emirate in the state describing it as a welcome development.
A family member of the dynasty Alhaji Isah Sunusi Bayero popularly known as Isah Pilot made the statement when the delegation of other family members paid homage to the Emir of Karaye Alhaji Ibrahim Abubakar Aliyu II at his palace.
A statement forwarded to Solacebase by Karaye Emirate Council Information officer, Haruna Gunduwawa on Friday said Alhaji Isah Sunusi Bayero noted that they were at the palace to congratulate the emir and register loyalty and support to Karaye emirate.
The Royal family member who hailed the government of Kano state for creating the emirate optimized that the decision will go a long way in bringing leaders and even development closer to the grassroots.
Responding, the emir of Karaye Alhaji Ibrahim Abubakar Aliyu II expressed delight over the visit which he described as historic.
He maintained that there had been a long-existing cordial relationship between the Karaye emirate and Dabo dynasty of Kano emirate.
Emir Ibrahim Abubakar II proved it by displaying some historic gifts offered by late Emir Ibrahim Dabo of Kano including the unique Malafar Dabo which only the Emirs of Karaye and Kano decorate with on special occasions.
