The House of Representatives on Tuesday urged President Muhammadu Buhari to urgently appoint his cabinet who will serve for the coutry in his administration.
This decision was sequel to consideration of a motion raised by Rep. Toby Okechukwu during plenary on Tuesday.
However, another lawmaker Mohammed Monguno opposed the motion through a point of order, noting that the constitution does not provide a specific time for the appointment of ministers by the President.
But Mr. Okechukwu, later noted that his motion does not suggest that there is a time frame for the President to appoint his minister but only urging him to appoint them in good time.
The house then okayed the demand.
