The Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital abducted medical doctor Dr Bashir Zubayr alongside his three siblings along Lokoja-Okene Federal Highway on Wednesday, have regained their freedom.
A family source who preferred anonymity told Solacebase that they were released on Friday afternoon.
Dr Bashir Zubayr and his three siblings were abducted on Wednesday afternoon on their way to attend the 40 days prayerof their mother.
The kidnappers on Thursday contacted his elder brother, Hamza Zubairu, asking for N200m as ransom.
When asked if the ransom was paid the source said he was not aware but another source told Solacebase that N10m was paid to secure their release.
They are presently receiving treatment at Federal Medical Centre Lokoja, according to a source.
