Kano state governor, Abdullahi Ganduje on Tuesday said discussions are ongoing to resolve the crisis between him and Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II.
Ganduje hinted this while speaking to state house correspondents after meeting President Muhammadu on Tuesday.
The governor noted that his meeting with the president was on security situation in the state and to also highlight the importance of community policing.
Solacebase recalled that relationship between the governor and the emir has not being smooth since after the 2019 governorship elections which some supporters of the governor alleged the emir worked against his re-election which the governor is accused of embarking on vendetta with the creation of new emirates.
Although Ganduje has denied these severally, noting that the creation of the new Emirates is aimed at developing the state without any ulterior motives.
