Ex- Police Affairs Minister, Ibrahim Yakubu Lame is dead.
Ibrahim Yakubu Lame died at a private hospital in Abuja on Saturday night.
He was a staunch All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain and governorship aspirant in Bauchi
Late Ibrahim Lame’s spokesperson, Nasiru Darazo confirmed his death to reporters on Sunday.
The late politician was born in 1953 and attended Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in Kaduna state.
He was appointed a Senior Special Assistant by President Olusegun Obasanjo in 1999 and later the Minister of Police Affairs in late President Umaru Yar’Adua’s cabinet.
Ibrahim Lame contested for the APC governorship ticket against Bauchi governor, Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar, and other aspirants in 2015.
He also contested the 2019 guber race primary under APC in Bauchi which he lost to Mohammed Abubakar again.
