A Kano High Court has issued a restraining order against Sharu Rabiu Ahlan and four others from conducting election into various elective positions in the Kano State Football Association.
The Court presiding Judge, Justice Usman Mallam Na’abba issued the order on Friday 24th May, stopping the elections scheduled to hold on Sunday 26th May, 2019.
The suit which was filed by Muhammad Salisu Rabiu as the Plaintiff has Sharu Rabiu Ahlan as first defendant, Ma’aruf Yakasai as second defendant,Kano State football Association as third defendant and Kano state Sport Council as fourth defendant in the suit.
The Court while granting the order in a motion Exparte filed by the Plaintiff Counsel, Barrister B.M Mukaddam adjourned the matter till 19th June , 2019 for determination of motion on notice pending before it.
