The Director General Kano State Hisba Board, Aminu Daurawa , the chairman of Kano State Pilgrims Board, Abba Koki , the Permanent Commissioner I at Kano state Shariah Commission Abubakar Kandahar Permanent Commissioner II at Zakkah and Hubsi Commission, Nazifi Inuwa have tendered their resignation.
The four Islamic Clerics submitted their resignation letters to the Secretary to the State Government on Friday through an aide of Aminu Daurawa, Umar Muhammad Tukur.
Also on his facebook page, Aminu Daurawa posted this afternoon that he has resigned his position with three close friends of his from the administration of Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje.
The four Clerics in their resignation letters wished the administration well.
Reacting to the development, Kano state Commissioner for Information, Youth, Sports and Culture, Muhammad Garba who also confirmed the resignation said their action is in line with the governor’s statement that he was going to dissolve all political appointees as his first tenure wind to an end on May 29.
