Kaduna State Police Command on Sunday said the female expatriate killed by gunmen at the Kajuru Castle was a Briton.
The Kaduna state Police Command Public Relations Officer, DSP Yakubu Sabo in a statement on Sunday identified the Briton as Miss Faye Mooney.
He said continuous efforts are still on course to rescue the kidnapped victims and bring the perpetrators to book.
“The slain expatriate lady, Miss Faye Mooney, is identified to be a Briton. She was a staff of Mercy Corps Nigeria.
According to him, “Investigation into the incident is in progress please.’’
Eyewitnesses said gunmen attacked the popular Kajuru Castle around 11:30 am on Friday and she was at the place from Lagos with other friends as tourists.
DSP Sabo, while confirming the incident, said two persons were killed.
