Three students of Kano University of Science and Technology (KUST) Wudil on Friday died in a road accident at a village, Tudun Gusau in Takai local government area, of Kano state, on Maiduguri road.
The incident reportedly occurred when five students in a Peugeot 206 were trying to dodge a pot hole as the driver lost control of the vehicle and ran into another vehicle in the opposite direction.
Confirming the development to Solacebase, KUST, Deputy Head of Information, Publication and Public Relations Unit, Malam Abdullahi D. Abdullahi said the accident involving the students occurred on Friday evening.
He said,’’ Two of the students died on the spot while the third person died at the hospital as two others are receiving treating at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital.’’
