President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in the city of Amman, Jordan, to participate in this year’s World Economic Forum.
According to the Nigeria Government verified Twitter handle, Buhari would take part in the Middle East and North Africa Conference.
After the WEF, Buhari is expected to attend the Investment Summit holding in Dubai.
A statement issued by Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the President, Femi Adesina,Muhammadu Buhari is at the event on an invitation by King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of Jordan.
According to the statement, “President Buhari will deliver an address at the opening of the plenary alongside King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein and United Nations Secretary-General, António Guterres, and join world economic leaders in an informal gathering at the King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Centre.
“President Buhari will depart Amman Sunday for Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) to participate in the ninth edition of the Annual Investment Meeting, April 8-10, 2019.
