Court Grants Deji Adeyanju Bail

The convener of Concerned Nigerians, Deji Adeyanju, regain his freedom after he was granted bail by a Kano Magistrate Court on Monday.

Deji Adeyanju was remanded in a Kano prison on charges of culpable homicide by the Police, despite his acquittal of the charges by a Kano High Court in 2009.

He was granted bail in the sum of N500,000 and two sureties as the court also ordered him to deposit his international passport.

The Activist had spent 63 days in prison before Monday’s bail.
