Frank Mba Replaces Jimoh Moshood As FPRO

The new Inspector General of Police (IGP) Adamu Mohammed on Wednesday appointed Frank Mba as the Force Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Nigeria Police after removal of Jimoh Moshood.

Frank  Mba is a law graduate of  the University of Lagos, and was called to the Nigerian bar in 2002.

 He is from Ezimo in Udenu Local Government Area of Enugu State, and was the best graduating cadet inspector in academics at the Police Academy, Kano, in 1993.

He rose through the police ladder and was promoted to assistant superintendent of police in 1999, deputy superintendent of police in 2003, superintendent of police in 2006 and chief superintendent of police in 2012.

Mba, who is an Assistant Commissioner of Police served as the FPRO  between 2012 and 2014 when he served under former IGP Mohammed Abubakar

He was redeployed  after Abubakar’s departure.
