BREAKING: Suspended PDP National Deputy Chairman Joins APC

The suspended deputy national chairman (North) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Babayo Gamawa, and a member of Atiku Abubakar Campaign Council on Tuesday joined the  All Progressives Congress (APC).

Babayo Gamawa was suspended by the PDP Monday night over allegations of anti-party activities.

The national publicity secretary of the PDP, Kola Ologbondiyan, who announced the suspension, said  Babayo  Gamawa was suspended by the National Working Committee.

However, on Tuesday evening the suspended PDP national deputy Chairman visited President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa in Abuja in company of the Bauchi state governor, Mohammad Abubakar.

After the audience with President Muhammadu Buhari, Babayo Gamawa said he was not given fair hairing by the PDP with the allegations against him.

He said despite all this ,he has decided to pitch tenet with the APC due to the respect he has for the person of the president.

Also the spokesperson of President Muhammadu Buhari, Femi Adesina later posted on the facebook the pictures of the visit

”President Buhari receives in audience New Entrant into APC Former Deputy National Chairman of PDP Senator Babayo Garba Gamawa and Hon. Kaulaha Aliyu alongside Bauchi State Governor in State House on 8th Jan 2019,” Mr Adesina posted on his Facebook page.
