NDLEA Arrests Fake Drug Manufacturer In Kano

National Drug Law Enforcement Agency(NDLEA) has arrested a fake drug manufacturer in Kano

NDLEA Kano Commander, Dr. Abdul Ibrahim stated this on Tuesday while parading the suspect.

He said the suspect , Ikenna Daniel aged 30 was arrested in Sabo Geri , Fagge Local Government Area of the state on tip off.
Dr. Abdul Ibrahim said the suspect specialized in the production of fake anti-Malaria drugs

According to him,”the suspect will be handed over to NAFDAC for continuation of investigation and prosecution accordingly.

Speaking to Solacebase at the NDLEA headquarters in Kano, the suspected fake drug manufacturer Ikenna Daniel , said he has being in the business in the last four months.

The NDLEA Commander noted that the command also arrested about 80 illicit drug peddlers within the street value of the Cocaine and Marijuana of over N200m in a month.

Dr. Abdul Ibrahim while appreciating the support and collaboration of the state government, said the command has being empowered to conduct drug test for new political appointees as a measure to check use of illicit drug in the society.

“Just recently the four commissioner nominees by the governor had to be tested by the command in which they were successful.”
