PDP Vows To End Political Thuggery In Kano As It Flags Off Campaign

People’s Democratic Party governorship candidate in Kano for 2019 Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf on Friday promised to introduce policies and programmes that will curtail the menace of political thuggery and drug abuse.

The candidate made this promise during the PDP flag-off campaign in Bichi local government area of the state.

Engr. Abba Yusuf expressed worries over the devastating attitude of the ruling APC of involving youth with hard weapons in political activities.

“Our rally today has demonstrated the peaceful nature of PDP as a party, it is weapon free flag-off campaign”

We are committed to ensuring that all children attend and complete schooling, we will provide free feeding and uniforms for our pupils and provide jobs for the teaming youth instead of asking them to carry weapons in political rallies.

In a statement signed by Spokesperson to the Gubernatorial candidate Mr. Sanusi Bature Dawakin-Tofa, said during the event, the former Kano State Governor Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso who is the deputy chairman of the national presidential campaign council presented flags to all candidates of state Assembly, House of Representatives in Kano north and Senate candidate Alh. Ahmed Garba Bichi.
