Ganduje Completes Assignment In Osun State Successfully

The Chairman of  APC National Campaign Council of Osun Gubernatorial Election and governor of Kano state, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has finally completed his work assigned him by the national headquarters of the party with the official inauguration of the newly elected Osun state governor, Mr Gboyega Oyetola, on Tuesday.

He led other party members before, during and after the election in his Campaign Council, an election which necessitated for a rerun, of which at the end of it, APC’s Gboyega emerged the winner.

A statement by Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Kano State , Abba Anwar said  Ganduje’s effort alongside his committee members was appreciated by the APC members in Osun state, as discussions on how the election was peacefully conducted and the unmatched humble behavior of Ganduje and his team featured prominently during preparation for the official inauguration of Oyetola at the Government House, Osogbo.

It said many believe that it was part of the appreciation being exhibited by the national headquarters of APC of how governor Ganduje successfully handled the Osun election that informed APC’s decision to assign another responsibility on the governor to head APC Reconciliation Committee for the southeast geopolitical zone.

The statement said when contacted by some Osun state APC topnotch politicians as the manifestation of their happiness, Ganduje said, “APC believes in teamwork. We all agree to one cause, that when you assume the mantle of leadership, serve your people. We believe to always copy from our dear President Muhamadu Buhari. That is why APC governors are more productive, prudent and pro-poor. Whose policies are people-oriented.”

“All that we are saying is this, let all our political office holders see the greatest wisdom in copying President Buhari’s philosophy of serving his people at all time.

Osun electorate appreciated what the former governor Mr Ra’uf Aregbesola did to bring development to the state. They need a government that could and will build on that. That’s why they insisted that Mr Oyetola gets the job,” Ganduje explains.

At the inauguration ceremony, the newly inaugurated governor Oyetola said “We will ensure that workers’ salaries are paid promptly, bearing in mind the financial inflow of the state. We shall resolutely defend, extend and prioritize the welfare of workers and pensioners.”
