President Muhammadu Buhari has visited injured soldiers in Maiduguri the Borno state capital on Wednesday.
The Al Barnawi faction of Boko Haram had on November 18,attacked the 157 Task Force Battalion based at Metele in Borno State, killing scores of the military while others were injured.
President Buhari arrived Maiduguri on Wednesday morning for the COAS Annual Conference and used the opportunity to address Nigerian soldiers at the battlefields to further boost their morale.
He subsequently visited the hospital where injured soldiers were being treated.
He commended them for their bravery and gallantry while commiserating with the families of the fallen heroes.
