Avoid Unethical Practices To Become Model of Integrity – ICPC Urges Youth

Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission ICPC on Tuesday urged youth to uphold uprightness in their early stages to become a model of integrity in the course of nation-building.

The Acting Chairman of the Commission Dr Musa Usman Abubakar made the disclosure at the Launching of Revitalization of Students Anti-Corruption Clubs held at Rumfa college, Kano.

Dr Musa Usman Abubakar represented by Mal. Jibrin Abubakar said the essence of the gathering is to tackle corruptions from the grassroots towards educating and enlightening the students about the negativity of corruptions and how it has hindered the developments of Nigeria.

He added that fighting the menace of corruption is a huge task and collective responsibility which deserved to fight from every angle, so as to redeem our future generation from the shackles of such vices.

“ The advent of the commission way back in 1999 to date, he said much has been achieved towards reducing the effect of corruption considerably across the country, “said Abubakar.

In  a remark, Kano State commissioner of education represented by Mal. Zakariyya Balarabe said the launching of the revitalization of Students anti-corruption clubs by ICPC is very much welcoming and also a timely initiative

He emphasized that such revitalisation gathering to Students at the lower level will detach their minds from appreciating the bandwagon of those acquiring wealth through questionable means.

The launching of the revitalisation of students anti-corruption clubs will be conducted in three senatorial zones, starting from Kano central, then at Kano-North schedule to be held at Dawakin Tofa, and also at Rano in Kano-South respectively.
