A seven storey building under construction on Friday collapsed in Port Harcourt, Rivers state, leaving some occupants dead and others trapped.
Solacebase gathered that most of the victims are said to be workers who are mostly paid on Friday.
Rivers state Police Spokesman Nnamdi Omoni said rescue operations are ongoing to salvage the situation
However unconfirmed reports said about 11 persons have been rescued from debris at the scene of the incident just as the number of the dead remains unascertained.
