Boko Haram Members Kill Imam, 14 Others In Borno

Suspected Boko Haram terrorists on Wednesday invaded some villages in Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State inflicting injuries on the community.

Over 200 insurgents reportedly storm the town during the attack, according to witnesses.

Eyewitnesses told Channels Television that villages attacked are Kofa, Abba Malumti, and Gozari, as well as Dalori II Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp, all located close to Maiduguri, the state capital.

The Imam of Kofa village and four members of his family were set ablaze while eight and two people were killed in Abba Malumti and Dalori II IDP camp respectively

Several houses were seen burned to the ground and properties destroyed as residents counted their losses.
