Ahead of tomorrow governorship primaries in All Progressive Congress an aspirant to the number one seat in Lagos, Dr. Femi Hamzat, has withdrawn from the race.
Addressing a press conference in Lagos on Saturday, Dr. Hamzat said he took the decision to support the ambition of another aspirant, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu and directed his supporters to cast their votes for Sanwo-Olu during the party’s primary tomorrow.
Dr. Femi Hamzat said that Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu is a person he can vouch for his integrity and personal intelligence based on his antecedent
Sanwo-Olu, who was also at the news conference would tomorrow slug it out now with the incumbent governor, Akinwunmi Ambode for the APC governorship ticket who is said to have been abandoned by his godfather, Bola Tinubu.
