The former Principal Private Secretary to late Emir of Kano Ado Bayero who was sacked by Emir Muhammadu Sanusi ii, Isa Sunusi Bayero, has escaped Assassins Bullets by whiskers at his residence in the metropolis.
According to him the assassins who were five in number and well armed stormed the house at about 7.40pm on Saturday asking for his whereabouts.
Narrating his ordeals, Isa Sunusi Bayero who is known as Isa pilot said on Saturday at about 7.40pm they had a serious echo of something like gunfire and they thought it was tire bursts.
“When we had the shout my driver went out to see what it was but only for the Assassins to escorted him back with guns asking of where I was but luckily I was in the house and when I had serious encountered outside I peeped and the crack of the doors sent fears in the Assassins and they escaped”.
” But before they left one of them said let’s kill one person to live a message but the leader insisted that it was Isa pilot we were told to killed and they left”.
Isa Sunusi Bayero who is an American trained Pilot and who had being Pilot to five ex-Head States including Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida,Olusegun Obasanjo, Abdussalam Abubakar, Sani Abacha and Ernest Shonekan also served late Emir Ado Bayero for 15 years.
Confirming the situation to Solacebase on Thursday Kano Police Spokesman DSP Magaji Musa Majia said the Command was initimated about the incident two Saturdays ago.
He said Isa Sunusi Bayero was asked to write a statement to that effect which he did and security has being tighten around his house.
“ As I speak to you we have commence investigation into the alleged attempt on the life of the complainant,” said Majia.
Before the issue, Isa pilot had told Newsmen that some People whom he does not know mostly call his daughter or wife lines insulting him and threatening them , but he had never taken that serious because he thought they are cowards and acting in a cowardice action”.
It is on notice that Isa Sunusi Bayero had problems with the current Emir of Kano Muhammad Sanusi II for allegedly reliving palace secrets who was sacked later by the Emir.
