The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Niger/Kwara/Kogi Command now has a new Area Comptroller Abba-Kaseem Yusuf.
The command made this known through a statement on Wednesday by its Public Relations Officers (PRO) Mr. Benjamin Lomba.
Lomba in the statement said that the new comptroller was until his deployment to Niger/Kwara/Kogi, in charge of Kano/Jigawa command.
Speaking at a brief handing over ceremony held at the command headquarters in Minna, Niger State the Customs outgoing comptroller, Benjamin Binga appealed to officers and men of the command to extend the same support and cooperation he enjoyed to his successor, Abba-Kaseem.
“Comptroller Abba-Kaseem, took over from Comptroller Binga Benjamin who has redeployed to the Nigeria Customs Zone “A” Enforcement Office in Lagos State in the recent posting released by the Customs Headquarters in Abuja, Lomba said.
“Meanwhile, Abba-Kaseem Yusuf reported on Monday, 13th August in the Command, until then he was in charge of Kano/Jigawa Area Command.
He told officers at the Command that his intention was to consolidate on the achievement of his predecessor.
“We have to intensify efforts to collect maximum revenue and suppress smuggling to the barest minimum. My predecessor has done a great job and I intend to do even more”, the new comptroller said.
