About 576 Kano pilgrims arrived on Friday morning aboard a Max Air plane at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA).
The first batch of Kano pilgrims landed at exactly 4.30am.
Speaking with Solacebase on Wednesday, the Executive Secretary ,Kano Pilgrim Welfare Board, Alhaji Muhammad Abba Dambatta said the first batch of the pilgrim will commence their return flight from Thursday.
Solacebase recalled that Kano has 2800 pilgrims in this year Hajj exercise with seven flights and the nation has about 55,000 pilgrims in total.
Also at the commencement of the Hajj exercise the pilgrims from Gwale, Dala ,Municipal and Fagge were the first to be airlifted
