The Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, has explained reasons for his visit to ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo in Abeokuta on Monday.
Bukola Saraki who held a closed-door meeting with former President Olusegun Obasanjo at the latter’s pent house within the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta on Monday was said to have been initially scheduled for 4.00pm
Speaking to Journalists after the meeting, Saraki said that he was with Obasanjo to make up for his (Saraki’s) absence at the formal inauguration of the Presidential library held last year.
“We are very proud of what he has done here.”
He declined comments when asked aboutthe crisis rocking the National Assembly and immediately took off in his car.
However Solacebase gathered that the visit may not be unconnected to move to impeach him by the APC
